The other day a tweet from Jeff Sayre that sparked a bit of a discussion regarding WordPress and BuddyPress developers’ blogging:

“Why is it that many WordPress / BuddyPress developers don’t blog or maintain an active blog. Seems a little ironic.”

This is an excellent question and it inspired me to compile a list of some of the best blogs to follow in the BuddyPress community.

Want to know who’s writing about BuddyPress?

If you’re new to BuddyPress and want to keep up with all of the latest developments, these are some of the best bloggers to add to your RSS feed aggregator. They all blog semi-regularly on BuddyPress topics, plugins, and development and provide some of the best tutorials in the community.

Disclaimer: These are not the only people who blog about BuddyPress- they’re just some of my favorites in no particular order.

  1. Nice list, Buddypress should (and can) be a real contender in terms of a ‘do it yourself’ social network or community site builder especially with the advent of BP 1.2.4 and the follow plugin.

    Looking forward to seeing that!
