Ron R is half of the well known duo also comprised of Andrea R, the team behind WPMU Tutorials – James.
This week James announced the first WPMU plugin competition and included an offer to express interest in sponsoring and/or judging. Andrea & I discussed it briefly and decided that we would like to be a [...]

Dan Milward is one of the great people behind Instinct, developers of the well know WP e-commerce plugin, besides a fair few other things as you’ll see below! – James
Recently we setup a WordPress MU site called GetShopped.com. It is a website for built for people wanting to setup an online store and sell online.
Setting [...]

Ahhh, I’m gonna miss the days of WPMU being (kind of) a version behind regular WP… but, at long last, WPMU 1.6 is out the door and you can read more about it here.
Of particular interest (to me at least) is the Google Gears integration and that “redirecting to the signup page for 404s and [...]

Here’s a radical idea, let’s go all Y-combinator on the plugin competition and list some WPMU plugins we’d like to see!
For example, I can think of a heck of a lot of ‘front page’ plugins that would be popular (widgets displaying overall site data) and as for a fully functional plugin allowing user to edit [...]

Update: The competition now has an official page where we’re cobbling everything together.
So, inspired by WLTC, and the many great entries that have been made (and may not have been inspired if it hadn’t been for the competition), let’s have the first ever WPMU plugin competition and hold it right here :)
Here’s the plan (it’s [...]

Which, brings up two interesting angles…
First up, as Incsub has put up a prize for the best WPMU plugin, I guess we’ve gotta choose [...]

Donncha’s just released a brilliant plugin that’ll make a heck of a lot of people happy, site-wide tagging for WPMU.
Here’s the run down:
This is the initial release of a plugin that creates a set of pages like the WordPress.com Hot Topics pages. It’s a lot more simplistic, but by feeding posts into one blog it [...]

Here’s one of Incsub’s recent projects, integration of a WPMU blog community with the largest Danish site on the web.
Feedback welcome :)

From the forums, WPMU 2.6 (I still can’t get used to it having a 2) RC 1 is out and available here.
It’s got a stack of elements that you’ll need to take into consideration for an upgrade, not least:
5. Custom first posts didn’t always work. Now they do.
Yay :)
10. The signup page uses “blogname” instead [...]

Howdy and welcome to the all new WPMU.org!
We (James and Andrew from Incsub) have had the absolute pleasure of being able to take over the management of this site from Juan Manuel who we’d like to thank hugely for all that he has contributed in the last few months to it.
And our plans aren’t much [...]
