Thanks for the link, hadn’t come across this before. Unless I’m mistaken this only protects you in the sense of reporting if your site has been compromised i.e. it doesn’t actually prevent any such attacks?
Even so, still a useful tool because it gives an early warning and chance to fix it before too much damage or loss of reputation/google issues arise. Full regular backups are the final defense.
Hi Tim, thanks for the information. I tried this plugin and it shows many red alerts it highlighted almost all files of my theme but how to resolve these warnings. The plugin marks a specific code in theme file like marked require_once function in require_once(‘lib/theme_options.php’); statement.

Yes you’re correct there – the plugin is more of an “early warning system” than an actual barrier against viruses etc.
As you say, regular backups are also an important part of your site’s security.
