If you’re a fan of WordPress and Twitter Bootstratp working together, you’ll be excited to know that this now extends into e-commerce. Bootstrap Commerce is a new site dedicated to creating Bootstrap themes that are fully integrated with popular WordPress commerce platforms. The site currently offers responsive, HTML5 themes for MarketPress and Easy Digital Downloads, another fantastic WordPress plugin for selling digital products.

The MarketPress flavor of Bootstrap Commerce supports and extends MarketPress and adds many additional options for customizing the theme, including support for multiple product images and a featured products slider.

The themes are built with many easy-to-use options, such as support for Google Webfonts, with 500 available font options, multiple layouts, color schemes, custom headers and button colors.

The theme purchases include free updates for a year. Check out a live demo of the Bootstrap Commerce MP theme. The Bootstrap Commerce theme for Easy Digital Downloads includes many of the same features, although it is still experimental.

FreeMarket: A Free MarketPress Theme Based on Twitter Bootstrap

If you need a solid starting point for a project you’re creating with Bootstrap and MarketPress, you’ll want to check out FreeMarket. It’s a stripped-down version of the Bootstrap Commerce – MP Theme. FreeMarket lacks many of the customizer options, but it is free to download if you just want to use it as a base for your own custom theme.
