December 7, 2009 We’ve just released an update to our new BuddyPress Social Theme.
Included amongst the changes are:
- Gallery and featured block styles are now controllable via theme options
- You now have a choice between ‘home’ (3 column) and ‘blog’ (2 column) layout
- Extra dedicated page templates – full width and 2 columns
- Fixed slug for settings and members on custom components and avatar posts
- Fixed custom-function copy.function error in earlier version
- Added bp-social-childtheme
- Refined the css for the new BuddyPress 1.1.3 activity blockquote styling
- Fixed the group layout breakage (if no members are detected)
- Added an optional advertisement or script block where the header image gies, allowing users to add ads here instead of a custom image header…suitable for skywide 720×90 ads
