You have to admit – the default WordPress login URL is a bit bulky: http://yoursite.com/wp-login.php. Unless you’re completely immersed in WordPress every day, chances are the login URL will be difficult to remember.
Ozh has created a plugin that simplifies the URL to as follows: http://yoursite.com/login. While this can be accomplished by editing the .htaccess file, this plugin utilizes a better way by tapping into the WordPress Rewrite API. Install the Ozh Simpler Login URL and make sure to read his tutorial on how you can create your own rules for rewriting other URLs.
