How to Block Pinterest on Your WordPress Site

While I’m a very big fan of Pinterest, I recognize that not every site owner will want visitors to be able to drop by and pin images from their site to Pinterst. For example, if you have a very high end photography site you may want to keep people from randomly posting and sharing your images all over the internet. The Pinterest Block plugin will help you to protect your copyright.

This plugin lets you do the following:

  • Blocks pages by inserting the official meta tag from Pinterest as described here
  • Block specified page types: blog home page, front page, posts, pages, archives
  • Block selected posts and pages
