How to Move a BuddyPress Profile Field to a New Group

Moving a BuddyPress profile field to a new field group might seem fairly obvious to you if you’ve been using BuddyPress for awhile. It actually is fairly intuitive, but the beginner might benefit from a few basic instructions.

Profile fields can be moved via drag and drop. Simply hover over the field you want to move and then drag it over the tab for the field group where you want to place it.

I was pleasantly surprised the first time I discovered how easy it is to move BuddyPress profile fields. Dragging fields to a new location sure beats re-creating the fields under a different tab.
