Sounds like a cool plugin, though I still done’t get why you would need it. Couldn’t you just copy and paste page info if you had to?

Gary: copy + paste is certainly possible, although many times that carries over a lot of extra markup or scripts you don’t want. This is intended for bringing over content from a site that isn’t going to be live anymore, but there is an option to include a canonical back to the original source if need be.
