Attention Pinterest lovers! There’s a new plugin for WordPress that lets you display your most recent pins in a widget on your WordPress site. Like many other women, I am totally obsessed with Pinterest and love finding new ways to incorporate it into my blog.
The Pinterest RSS Widget is the latest plugin in the repository that gives you the ability to show off your latest pins. You can drop it in your sidebar or any other widgetized area and set the number of pins you would like to display. You also have the option to display or hide the titles of the pins. The widget settings also allow you to set the height and width of the thumbnails to fit your theme. At the bottom you can display a “Follow Me On Pinterest” button so that others can connect with you.

Sites with images that have been shared on Pinterest have seen significant increases in traffic because of the increased links back. Pinterest is one of the fastest growing social networks on the web and is a great place for users to discover and share links to your website. If you don’t already have a “Pin It” button added to your images, you may want to consider it.

Thanks for writing about my plugin, Sarah! I just started using Pinterest and saw that there weren’t any good plugins for it like this, so I made one. I’m also working on a “Pin It” button plugin that operates like the Pin It bookmarklet, so WordPress users can add it to their sites. Hope everyone enjoys using the plugin!

I can honestly say there’s nothing better out there. It’s super easy to install and customize. Brian did an amazing job with the code. Looking forward to feedback and ideas for making it even better!
