MP Floating Cart: A Free MarketPress Plugin

MP Floating Cart is another free extension offered by MarketPress Themes. It creates a shopping cart tab that hovers or “floats” above your website. Clicking on the tab will launch a modal window displaying the customer’s shopping cart items and subtotal. The subtotal updates instantly, just like amazon.com, both on the tab and in the cart window.

When the shopping cart modal window is launched, a dark overlay is placed over the site behind it.

The floating shopping cart comes with an options panel that allows you to customize the plugin in the following ways:

  • Change the placement of the button
  • Turn button text on/off
  • Change button text
  • Option to show or hide cart total
  • Select the button color

  1. It looked great until I went to download it and entered an incorrect password – now all I get is an error if I click live demo or marketpressthemes.com.

    Is there a way I can fix this, or some other way to get the download?
