The team at GetShopped.org just made their BuddyPress for WP E-commerce plugin available for free. If you’re looking for a way to bring a store into your BuddyPress social network, this may be an option to consider.
The Plugin integrates BuddyPress and WP E-Commerce in two ways:
1. User profile fields and checkout form
You can select which BuddyPress user profile fields correspond with your checkout fields in order to simplify the checkout process with automatic population of the customer’s profile field data.
2. Creates a Store Page for BuddyPress groups
This plugin adds a store page to the group menu. The group store shows all your products from a particular category to members of that group. Features can be turned on for the store on the BuddyPress front-end.
It’s important to note that this doesn’t actually create separate stores wherein each group receives separate payments. Rather, the group has the ability to display products from any category of the site’s store. It’s more of a way to direct market your products to targeted groups.
Currently the plugin requires WP E-Commerce 3.7. It’s not yet supported on WP E-Commerce 3.8.
