The latest release of Jetpack brings users some long-awaited features that make WordPress faster and more social. Jetpack 2.0 allows you to add social sharing connections that will automatically publicize your content to Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Tumblr. In addition to the Publicize feature, it also includes the ability to send content via email. Post by Email performs a little bit of magic to make your posts look beautiful, whether you send a photo, video, gallery, audio files, or even ten pages of single-spaced text.
By far the most exciting feature of Jetpack 2.0 is Photon, a free image acceleration and editing service hosted by WordPress.com. Activating this module takes a load off your server by hosting all of your images on WordPress.com’s content delivery network. If you don’t already have a CDN in place for your site, Photon will help you to serve images faster. Upgrade Jetpack to 2.0 to start taking advantage of all the new features.

Any idea of the overhead using Jetpack. Lots of stuff in there.

Hey Sarah
I tried to enable the CDN option and all images in my posts were gone, can you tell me where did I go wrong?
Thanks in advance!
I have also tried to use their CDN. But it doesn’t work. I am using maxcdn for my blog, but thought this service will help me reduce my bandwidth usage. But nooooo… this service don’t work.
Well that’s pretty damn exciting.
2 things:
1. error on top of few pages : “Warning: array_key_exists() [function.array-key-exists]:”
2. images height is cropped in pages and images shrunk in category archives
am i missing something?
