Many WordPress slider plugins focus on one specific style or content type to showcase. jQuery Slider Shock is a new plugin that in many ways blows all the other slider plugins out of the water when it comes to customization options. It includes 31+ effects, 31+ customizable skins and the ability to change any design aspect.

Here’s an example where the slides are pulled from an Instagram account:

A demo is visible at the project homepage. You can test out the full capabilities of the plugin by clicking on the “Build Your Own” button and adding your own customizations to the online demo generator:

jQuery Slider Shock is easily the most feature-packed WordPress responsive slider plugin available. It was created by the same guys behind wpThemeGenerator. Download jQuery Slider Shock for free and let us know what you think.
Does the Build You Own demo actually show ALL the controls? For instance, the data source section has buttons labeled “Category” and “Post Type”, but no way to select WHICH category or post type.
Pity that responsiveness is a premium only feature – will therefore give it a miss and stick with Orbit.
Is there any base64 code in the output? I’ve noticed it being present in at least one of the other offerings they had a little while back. It was in the CSS.
Is that support wpmu setup?
