We’ve gone widget wild over at WPMU DEV Premium and have a stack of the little buggers which will make your life easier, more community focused and generally – we hope – better!

Most recent updated blogs widget – A new take on an old function, profile your most recently updated blogs via a widget with lots of configurable funnness thrown in.
Personally I’m dead chuffed with these and reckon that they’ll be a lot of use to a lot of people – we hope you enjoy them and let us know what you think, any bugs you find, enhancements you’d like to see etc. etc.

What changes, if any, does moving to GPL mean for you guys… ? Even after reading the back and forth posts that pop up every now and then regarding GPL, it still seems there isn’t a consensus on how GPL affects plugins and the like… I probably need to re-read everything I can on GPL to get a better grasp on this….
Best discussed in a later post – suffice to say that we’ve decided that the most important thing is to respect the WP license and allow Premium users to use the plugins as per that arrangement.
Gotcha….. the WPMU DEV Premium Plugins are worth every cent, glad I subscribed…. the bottom line is that a lot of those plugins probably wouldn’t exist if there wasn’t incentive for you guys to build them, my concern with GPL would be maintaining that incentive so that quality pay plugins and themes continue to be built….. taking away that incentive is a formula for mediocrity and lack of innovation….
I couldn’t agree more, and I’m hopeful that we can keep things going as they are (and add even more services and cool stuff) while keeping within licences.
