MultiSite Top Level Domain

Hello, I have been searching the web trying to find the answer to this question and haven’t found exactly what I am wanting. I have found many resources detailing how to essentially redirect www.clientdomain.com to www.mydomain.com/clientdomain. But what I want to know is if MultiSite will allow me to manage a site while still keeping everything under www.clientdomain.com. When someone goes to my client’s site, they need to stay on my client’s site, not be redirected to a subdirectory of my site. Can this be done, and if so, how?

Assuming I've understood you correctly, you could use the Domain Mapping plugin for that.
The domains setup using it would have all the appearance of being at an independent domain and wouldn't have any hint of being on your network.
