You’ll probably have noticed that when you sign up for a really great service, you don’t just get a single ‘welcome’ email – but you also get several ‘follow up’ emails, over the course of the next few days/weeks letting you know all about their features, how you can use the site and offering you support and assistance.
Well, that’s exactly what we wanted for blogs.mu and so we developed it… and are now handing it over to you!
Introducing the automatic follow up emails for new users plugin – also known as auto messaging, for short :)
This plugin allows you to send out ‘messages’ at predetermined times based on when the user signed up, for example, check out the blogs.mu messages.
You can set each message to go out x days after an event and differentiate between actions like creating a new blog, and creating a new user.
What’s more, you can even personalise each email using the following dynamic info: %blogname% %blogurl% %username% %usernicename% %sitename% %siteurl% %systemname% %systemurl%
