Installation Notes: You’ll want Donncha’s Sitewide Tags Pages(v 0.2) installed and running for a while (to generate posts in the tags blog). I have not tested this widget with any other sitewide tags-type aggregation, but user can substitute any existing public blog id if the ‘tags_blog_id’ doesn’t exist. Sitewide “three-in-one” Multi Widget Panel is a widget so put it with he rest of your wpmu widgets. Designed/tested for WPMU2.6.

Nice work… this is gonna be pretty popular I reckon!
Hello there!
This plugin has functions similar to ds_sitewide_extended_categories_widget plugin. I have some problems with the one I’ve mentioned and I wonder if the same thing will happen with this plugin also.
1. If Donncha’s Site Wide Tags plugin is installed I can’t use any other blog_id which (in my case) has no sense cause I need both, your’s and Donncha’s solution
2. When I remove Donncha’s plugin I can use all blogs ids except blog_id from the main blog and that’s exactly the blog whose categories I want to display on all other blogs.
Thanks for all other useful plugins you provided. Cheers.
I think that part of this comment answers my second question:

Boonika, no worries. I had it that way in the first place. The code is there to override the tags_blog_id. Look in the code and uncomment(remove /* */) line 247
Thanks. I’ll try that.
Are You sure it’s 247? You were talking about ds_sitewide_extended_categories_widget.php, right?
$newoptions['number'] = $number;
Boonika, I added a note at download page at wpmudev.org for both.
Thanks a lot. I’ll try not to rush with questions in future.
Looks like it works just fine. Of course, still unable to display main blog categories (id=1). When I enter value it keeps on replacing it with the ‘tags’ blog id (in my case id=22).
Cheers,
Marko
Thanks for the great plugin. This is exactly what I have been looking. I have a test WPMU set up, when I installed the plugin into my mu-plugins folder and it sent my Admin css wild. I uninstalled it the widgets page went back to normal. Installed it again and the css went bonkers again. I am using Ozh’s admin drop down plugin which could be the source of the problem, but I thought I’d let you know. I will do some more testing to see how to fix it. I really want to use this plugin. Again Thanks Good Luck with the competition. Happy to submit a screen shot if anyone care. PEACE !
