This is a simple plugin that does two main things:
- Uses builtin WordPress functions to reduce any possibilities of conflicts with other themes and plugins
- A nice looking star icon uses AJAX upon click to immediately save your posts’ sticky status
There’s no options page – the only thing the plugin does is add an additional column on the “posts” page for the Sticky Clicky Star.
Marking a post as sticky can be a troublesome thing to remember for the average WordPress user. Ordinarily, one would need to find the checkbox that says “Stick this post to the front page” under the Visibility menu of the post editor. This is definitely not an intuitive placement.
