A quick new plugin for you at WPMU DEV Premium direct from the ‘blindingly obvious’ department :)
Simply select a new default theme for new blogs via Site Admin > Options, no more fiddling around with default folders and all that.

This plugin allows you to set default categories for new blogs. It also allows you to add these categories to existing blogs.
You can also do a search and replace for category names. The search works with exact match only, and is case sensitive.

I’m new to blogging and WordPress, but in the process of working on a project I came up with a plugin solution to add default categories when creating new blogs in WordPress MU. This is my first plugin, so all comments and advice would be helpful.
