Christmas has come nice and early this year for WPMU DEV members, with this fabulous new BuddyPress Magazine Theme – released today!
An insanely hip magazine theme for BuddyPress
Here’s a small selection of features:
- Post images without the need for custom fields, or any fancy stuff whatsoever – The theme simply grabs images from posts and uses them throughout the site.
- There’s even a variable size options for the front page and if an image isn’t big enough it simply repeats the image.
- Front slideshow with automatic image fill – again without custom fields :) added to which you are able to adjust the speed of the show and select the category that displays
- Featured post category so you can set to any category to display on the front and adjust how many items appear
- 5 preset high impact styles.
- Built in front sidebar functions to show member avatars and recent activity without the need for a widget. All configurable through theme options
- Configurable messages a-go-go: set a welcome message, about site, strap line and even a message to show if people are signed in or new potential users.
- Customisable without the need to even touch the html, naturally :)
