The BuddyPress theme market has a new player: WooThemes has jumped in with the release of Canvas BuddyPress beta. It’s a child theme of their very popular Canvas theme. Here’s a screenshot of the member directory:
If you currently own a copy of Canvas or are a Standard / Developer Club Subscriber, you can log in and download Canvas BuddyPress from there. The Canvas BuddyPress child theme is not sold separately at this time so you’ll need to own Canvas or be a member of the WooClub to have access to it.
WooThemes is still in the experimental stage with BuddyPress, so support for modification and customization is very much limited. You’ll be on your own with this one, but a skilled BuddyPress developer will be able to appreciate this theme and put it to good use. Head on over to WooThemes to check out the Canvas BuddyPress live demo.

I can only assume that it will get better as time goes on. I am definitely looking forward to more BuddyPress goodness from these guys :)
It’s about time that others started designing for Buddypress and glad to see Woo get into the market.
