Plugin no. 94 – Members Directory

This is a powerful plugin that does a pretty simple thing.

It creates a page, on the homepage of your site, of all the users that are registered at your site (and haven’t opted out of being listed using the privacy options).

But… it doesn’t stop there!

It also creates for each use on your site and extended membership profile.

This incorporates not only biographical information as entered into the users ‘Profile’ area – but also a listing of their latest posts, latest comments and (if you have it installed) our friends plugin… with the facility to add a friend built in!

In short – its a perfect, simple, powerful way to display all your users in one place and allow them to have configurable and information rich personal profiles on the homepage of your site.

Here’s a sample members listing (using our demo site):

And here’s a profile in action… not bad huh!

Enjoy… and download here.

And… remember, that entries are still open for the opportunity to win 5 yearly WPMU DEV Premium memberships worth $419 each to celebrate 100 plugins, themes and videos at WPMU DEV Premium… and it’s 100% free to enter and enjoy! Click here to participate.

  1. SWEET!! This is something I’ve been looking for, for a while!!

  2. Glad u like it, there’s even better to come too :)

  3. That is great, I will try to use members directoty on local system, and if it fulfils all my needs, this one is a new plugin added to my list. I came to this website from weblogtoolscollection and I really liked your blog.

  4. Does it work in a WPMU per-directory installation? I’ve tried the plugin this morning, but nothing happens after installing it.

  5. If you have any issues with our plugins please post in our forums:

It would be too difficult to keep track of things if we provided support here in the comments.
