WPMU-Enterprise allows the site admins to have multi, multi-user blogs on one install of wordpress.
Objective:
Starting with WP 1.5, many of us had to find a solution to upgrade/manage mutiple sinlge wp blogs. This was solved with the release of wpmu. From there, many of us then had to figure out a way to upgrade/manage multiple mu blogs. This is an attempt to solve this problem.
Features:
- Multiple MU blogs ex. domain1.com, domain2.com, subdomain.domain1.com, etc.
- Different site admins for each mu blog.
- Different mu blogs are maintained as companies
- Each site admin is given it’s own company to manage blogs, sites and users.
- Domain name mapping
Requirements:
WPMU 2.6.1
Pros:
- Manage multiple mu-sites with one wordpress install.
- Assign site admins to companies and restrict their access to blogs, users.
Cons:
- Have to edit 3 core files.

Will something like this be one of the features of your plugin? Thanks.
It already is. There is just 1 user database. The admin should automatically have access to all blogs, but if you would like different users to be added then you will have to add them under the blog options panel.
But that is also one downfall. Like Donncha said: Remote login does not work. It’s possible to be logged in on the main site, logged in on the domain mapped blog as a different user or not logged in at all there!
I am looking at implementing a nonce type of system that will auto log you in to different domain names and prevent you being logged in as two different users.
Nice
Plugin looks great but I’m getting 2 errors under ‘company’ admin:
