You should be well into the swing of the Christmas spirit by now, but is that reflected in your WordPress blog? It’s never too late to celebrate the true spirit of Christmas by digital means, and I have done all of the legwork for you by selecting 10 of the best Christmas WordPress themes available.

Each one of these themes has been checked with Theme Authenticity Checker and Theme Check. I uploaded and installed each theme to my local WordPress site, which was populated with some lovely northern randomness courtesy of the T’Lipsum tool unearthed by Sarah in this post (which will mean absolutely nothing to the vast majority of people outside of the UK).

This theme is bang up to date and packed with many of the features you would expect from a turn-key premium theme. It also has a selection of customized shortcodes and widgets. Plus it’s got a friendly-looking snowman – what more could you want?

2. Iceburgg

Warning : this theme is officially old as hell. But it still does look rather spiffing, so I threw it in here.

3. Christmas Stars

This is the first of four WordPress themes on this list designed by a shop that sells Christmas goodies. They include an obligatory link back to their site via the theme. But it’s also all pretty and gold, so I’ll let them off.

4. Christmas Trees

If you’re into slightly creepy-looking Santas, you’re in luck here. If your blog’s title is as long as mine, you’ll want to think about changing the font color to avoid clashing with the trees.

5. Merry Christmas

This one is pretty cool. The snowflakes at the top float across your screen. If that’s not your bag, there is an option to turn them off.

6. Red And Gold Christmas

This one is a bit heavy and colorful for my taste, but it might suit you perfectly.

7. Snowmen

If you have ever dreamed of your blog sitting on a cloud of snowmen who may or may not be under the influence of drugs, I have found the perfect theme for you.

8. Christmas Presents

This is a clean and simple theme, with a jolly fat Santa at the top to remind you what time of year it is.

9. Christmas Gifts

As standard, this theme comes with a spot at the top to give your visitors a welcome message. Perhaps you could wish them a pleasant season’s greetings?
