Adelle: A Free Responsive WordPress Theme With a Pretty Blog Design

Attention female bloggers! Have you ever thought that most WordPress themes tend to be quite masculine and maybe even a little clunky? Or perhaps the themes look too minimalist and bare without any personality. BluChic is a relatively new shop with an entirely different take on WordPress themes. They aim to make fresh and feminine themes that female bloggers will want to use.

Adelle is a pretty WordPress theme that BluChic is offering for free. It sports a clean, responsive design with friendly typography and pink and black accents.

The Adelle Theme Features:

  • Responsive layout design
  • Social media sharing – Tweet and Like under each post
  • Custom widgets include: Flickr Gallery, Social Media Icons, and recent tweets.
  • Favicon uploader
  • Custom menu
  • Threaded comment ready
  • Compatible with latest WP 3.4
  • Cross-browser compatibility

Check out the live demo and resize your browser to see how the theme will respond on various devices.

Of course, this theme is not limited to female bloggers only. If you’re a guy and you like the pink confetti header design, then have at it! Or if you have some decent CSS skills you can customize it to have an entirely different look. This one is pretty in pink right out of the box, without having to mess with it.

If you like the free Adelle theme, make sure to check out the other themes at BluChic. Many of them come with matching marketing kits, including business cards, social media designs, and more.

  1. I love this theme, however, I cannot get my featured images to show on my blog page, I see the date circle but no featured images and yes, each post has a featured image assigned.
